Indivisible Hubbard County Code of Conduct
PURPOSE: To create a welcoming, respectful, and safe community for all participants in Indivisible Hubbard County activities: whether in person, online, or through private communication.
PRIVACY: Leadership will maintain confidentiality of members’ information. Members will not share personal information, photos, or contact details without consent.
RESPECTFUL: Disagreements are natural, but personal attacks or hostile behavior are not acceptable.
COURTESY TO STAFF & LEADERSHIP: Treat congressional staff with respect, even when disagreeing with their representative’s position on a particular issue. Show the same respect toward members of the Hubbard County Leadership Team.
INCLUSIVE: All members should feel welcome regardless of background. Offensive language, harassment, intimidation, unwelcome contact, or discriminatory behavior will not be tolerated.
HARASSMENT POLICY: Harassment includes offensive comments, threats, stalking, unwanted recording, disruptions, or inappropriate physical/sexual conduct and will not be tolerated.
COMMUNICATION: During general meetings, members will be asked to raise their hand if they have a specific question or comment.
RALLIES & PUBLIC STATEMENTS: Only a designated spokesperson who represents Indivisible Hubbard County will be allowed to speak to the press on behalf of the organization.
VIOLATION: Contact the Leadership Team if you have questions, experience, or witness a violation of this Code of Conduct. Members who fail to abide by the Code of Conduct are not welcome at Indivisible Hubbard County–sponsored events.
